Crete is a fairly big island in the south east Mediterranean with mountains, lots of history, and much more. This summer I had the opportunity to visit the south east part of Crete. It was just a short trip, which I enjoyed very much. Although these places are so inspiring, this time I did not take many pictures. But it won’t be the last time that I went there. The rare beauty of Xerokampos, the Venetian Villa in Etia and a short stay in Makrigialos were on my list for this little trip.
Recently, when the winter took a small break, I went with a friend to explore the world as seen from the top of the Venetian Walls in Heraklion. There is so much to see even at night. This will be an ongoing series over the next few months.
Tonight I finally managed to go out and have a good look at the supermoon .. But then also the clouds wanted to be on stage and they did well, since I got some beautiful pictures of the supermoon with clouds.
While my plan for this summer was to continue working on my series Su Se Sa, which I feel is incomplete yet, lots of things happened and instead I found myself away from the sea. This lead to two new series: Tales of a snail and Song of fiber and string.
